WE LUV VIDEO'S 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY!

We Luv Video is going 3D as we turn 3 years old and we want YOU to be apart of it! Come join the festivities for our 3rd anniversary block party on July 25th from 12-7 PM. We have a jam packed schedule so we're shutting down the whole 100 E North Loop Blvd block to celebrate. Check out all the activities in store..

Inside the store we will have new member sign-up deals, mystery DVD bundles, and our new merch items that y'all voted on for our design contest will be available for sale! Check out the raffle table to win some cool prizes like the soft sculptures by our window display resident Maura Murnane and so much more. There will also be movie-themed flash tattoos courtesy of Slowpoke Tattoo's resident Artist Annika (@pin_and_pencil). From 12-2 PM join us for TAMI's Curation Workshop in our microcinema. TAMI (Texas Archive of the Moving Image) is leading a curation and archiving workshop and screening some wonderfully weird digitized Austin clips. Come learn how film gets preserved and rediscovered and check out a little piece of local history you probably didn't know existed. From 3-6 PM Howdygals put together the sickest line-up of local bands featuring Nova, Team Trust, Whisper and Queen Serene. We don't put together many shows in our microcinema so you don't want to miss this!! Outside the party continues, Subculture Swap is bringing out the coolest vendors. Come browse some wares while DJ 007" plays some tunes. We'll having the coolest kidz zone with face painting, a "design your own VHS tape cover and 3D glasses" station, temporary tattoos, and so much more. Stay cool and support our local neighbors and check out their drink specials they will have that day. To close out the fun we will be screening the 3D classic - Silent Madness at 7:30 PM in our microcinema. There's so much more in store and we can't wait to celebrate you for keeping physical media alive!
